9歲童星葉子綺今年以影集「人生清理員」入圍金鐘獎，再以電影「左撇子女孩」入圍金馬獎女配角，將和以電影「我家的事」同樣入圍金馬女配的黃珮琪對打。巧的是在公視人生劇展「祝你下輩子開心」，黃珮琪飾演家暴媽，虐待的正是女兒葉子綺，這緣份也太奇妙。
葉子綺因隨「左撇子女孩」到紐約參與影展缺席今日試片會，黃珮琦透露日前在金馬入圍酒會在廁所遇到，兩人互道恭喜。那葉子綺見到虐待她的媽媽可有陰影？黃珮琪趕緊澄清：「沒啊，我私下人那麼好！」

劇中黃珮琪不但吼葉子綺，還巴她抓到水龍頭底下沖水，再塞進行李箱，行徑極度恐怖。黃珮琪認為：「子綺是心理很成熟的小孩，我在她這個年齡可能不敢演！」她跟導演其實都非常緊張，有形部分做足保護，但擔心無形心理上會有影響，造成小朋友的陰影。
導演鍾維恆說，事前有跟子綺媽媽不斷溝通，黃珮琪也說：「子綺很辛苦，每拍一次就崩潰一次，她一開始覺得好玩，等到被壓在水龍頭下就崩潰，而且真的冰水。」而葉子綺也吐露「好害怕」，拍2、3個小時，體感卻很漫長。
可能衝擊真的太大，黃珮琪甚至放話：「可能就先不要生小孩。」 覺得劇中演的這個媽媽跟她年齡差不多，根本是孩子生孩子，而她的原生家庭也未被好好對待過 。
「祝你下輩子開心」講的是長照故事，黃珮琪的奶奶因癌症過世，她當時年紀還小，會去醫院幫換尿袋，有時也會揹著她走動，希望激發奶奶求生意志。奶奶60多歲就離世，某年入夢，告訴黃珮琪「我已經忘記妳是誰了」，她哭著醒來，枕頭都濕透，這回看劇時多在落淚，那種被很愛的人忘記的感覺，像傷口一直被打開又關起來。
