內視鏡手術治癌症！林峰年獲譽肝膽腸胃科《醫龍》
三重宏仁醫院肝膽腸胃科主任林峰年醫師，曾赴日研修「內視鏡黏膜下剝離術」（ESD）手術，加上多年鑽研後已成為國內ESD專家，他專門收治其他醫院不願動刀的病患，以精準又細緻手法切除早期胃癌、大腸癌、食道癌等腫瘤，多次獲國際醫學期刊認可，更被譽為該領域的《醫龍》！
林峰年看診態度鉅細靡遺，無論是超音波或是腸胃鏡等相關檢測，他幾乎到了「專注細節、近乎苛求」地步，早年在羅東博愛醫院服務時，就因為他的一絲不苟的態度，揪出罕見疾病「胃腸道基質瘤」（GIST），成功挽救了病患的生命。
林峰年在博愛醫院服務時，獲得陳明杰主任啟發進入ESD領域，自此成為他從醫生涯最大的轉捩點。他解釋，最早切除腸胃道腫瘤只能靠外科醫師開膛剖肚，後來演變成腹腔鏡手術，但無論是哪種外科手術，都會遇到術後感染、恢復慢等問題。
所謂 ESD是一種微創手術，單靠內視鏡及電刀精確地切除胃、腸、食道等器官黏膜下的異常組織，達到早期治療的目標，術後不留傷口。
他除了自己苦心鑽研相關技術，更遠赴日本琦玉醫科大學研修，累計至今已完成數百個手術案例，創下國內ESD手術最多的紀錄。
「說起來容易，做起來卻是困難重重！」林峰年解釋，ESD技術門檻高，醫師必須在內視鏡狹窄的視野中，用電刀小心剝離病患的腫瘤，如果技術不好，可能會弄破腫瘤造成轉移擴散，或是沒有清乾淨復發。
不少大型醫院考量風險後，寧願動刀也不願碰ESD手術，病患求助無門紛紛求助林峰年，看診以及手術病患術屢創新高。他說，最近剛替87歲老爺爺切除7.5公分的早期大腸癌腫瘤，住院兩天恢復良好後返家，目前手邊陸續累計還有十多台手術，預計要近半年時間才能慢慢消化。
除了ESD手術，林峰年更以內視鏡手術，修補罕見疾病「氣管食道廔管」異常連結處，成功治癒患者反覆發作的肺炎，相關手術案例已投稿到國際醫學期刊，許多病友稱讚他內視鏡手術技術卓越，堪稱日劇《醫龍》真人版。
